First let me start by saying I have surpassed 7,000 hits on my blog, so thanks!  I appreciate all those who have been following along!  I traveled to Boston this past weekend to visit friends & it turned out to be a really great time.  Here's a view from the hotel.

While out shopping, I happened upon a cool thing.....the finish line to the Boston Marathon!

Sadly, this may be the closest that I ever get to the finish line, but it was cool to stumble upon, right?  

I don't know what it is about Boston, but there's a lot of cool things here & every time I come, regardless of the situation, I always leave knowing that I can't wait to come back.  

Friday Funny

Hey everyone!  I thought I'd share a video with your (for a change) of my mornings with Louie, my crazy bulldog.  He is really silly & each morning when we go outside, he runs around like a nut.  I decided, for some unbeknown reason this morning, to film him in the yard.  I call this "goating" as he reminds me of a goat running & leaping around.  Lets just say this morning didn't turn out so great, for me!   What a nut!  Have a great weekend!

Weekeds Are Always Too Short!

Hope everyone had a great weekend.  I was running around like a madwoman.  3 states in 3 days!  NJ, PA, NJ, NY, NJ.  In that order!  The trip out to PA was work related & to see my BFF!  We had fun, went shopping & even got our makeup done.  Crap!  Forgot to take a picture of that.  Oh well.

Yesterday I went into the city to the WTC to volunteer & it was really a nice Spring day!  Sure, it's still winter, but it has been such a mild winter this year.  Only one tiny snow storm.  & you just have to love NYC.  Even I had to stop & take this guy's picture.

I was on my way into Starbucks (where else?) & I had to snap his picture.  He asked me for a dollar, which I do not normally give to weird street people, but this guy clearly had gone the extra mile.  I always reward panhandlers that go the extra mile.  Plus, it was really for the cat, because he was doing all the work.  Alas, when I came out of Starbucks, he had moved on.  Maybe his neck was getting tired.

In other news (I seem to always write that).  I received my training t-shirt for the NYC triathlon.  It is a tiny bit snug, so that means I have a looooong way to go - training wise!   Here's a pic!  & if you haven't already donated, please think about doing so!!!!  Thanks to all who already have!

Decided to change my blog color tonight.  & thanks to my friend Anna, I now have to cool orange background.  I need to stay hip & seeing that she is almost a teenager, she should know!

This is a great deal!  Today online I found this great website & I thought I'd share it!  Each day they have deals for certain items.  I really thought the one year subscription for Better Homes & Gardens Magazine for $5 was an awesome deal.  Check it out, sign up & get some great deals!

Too Funny Not To Post

Here's a conversation I had on this dating website with some 28 year old.  Now, being a bit older than 28 & not really looking for a "friends with benefits" situation.  I thought I'd post this to see if anyone else thought it was as funny as I did.  Now, to be fair, I have blanked out his name, but I feel comfortable telling you that his profile said his occupation was Market Research & not Med School Student.  Note:  none of this was embellished.  I did cut out redundancies, like the fact that he told me he was in med school twice & some smiley faces.  Happy reading!

Jenn:  younger, men?  yes.  immature, no.  just being honest

Jenn:  Looking for dating, not really looking to hook up.  Again, being honest.  Are you looking for a girlfriend.

28 year old:  Well, I'm in med school so it's hard with my schedule for something serious (this was written at 3 pm - yeah sure you're in school) I think something in the middle is more ideal...like a long term friend with benefits...would you consider that?
