Weekeds Are Always Too Short!

Hope everyone had a great weekend.  I was running around like a madwoman.  3 states in 3 days!  NJ, PA, NJ, NY, NJ.  In that order!  The trip out to PA was work related & to see my BFF!  We had fun, went shopping & even got our makeup done.  Crap!  Forgot to take a picture of that.  Oh well.

Yesterday I went into the city to the WTC to volunteer & it was really a nice Spring day!  Sure, it's still winter, but it has been such a mild winter this year.  Only one tiny snow storm.  & you just have to love NYC.  Even I had to stop & take this guy's picture.

I was on my way into Starbucks (where else?) & I had to snap his picture.  He asked me for a dollar, which I do not normally give to weird street people, but this guy clearly had gone the extra mile.  I always reward panhandlers that go the extra mile.  Plus, it was really for the cat, because he was doing all the work.  Alas, when I came out of Starbucks, he had moved on.  Maybe his neck was getting tired.

In other news (I seem to always write that).  I received my training t-shirt for the NYC triathlon.  It is a tiny bit snug, so that means I have a looooong way to go - training wise!   Here's a pic!  & if you haven't already donated, please think about doing so!!!!  Thanks to all who already have!
