Holy crap! Where has the time gone? I remember there were at least 222 days last time I checked! 75 days is 2 & 2 weeks away until I pack it all up & head to New Hampshire for the Timberman 70.3.
My training has not been perfect & has not gone much to plan lately, but I have been getting better runs in, that is I have been able to run 5 or 6 miles for the most part without feeling fatigued and without much walking. I know that I can do this, it's just that I'd like to be able to get this 1/2 Ironman finished without having to crawl across the finish line.
I'm going to try to throw some yoga into my workout schedule this week. I think it will help me since I am really horrible about stretching. I did about 30 seconds of stretching the other day after my 6 mile run. Yeah, it was hardly worth it.
In 2 weeks I'm going to be competing in the Tour de Cure in Brielle for Diabetes. Thanks to everyone that contributed towards my ride. This year we are going to be doing the 63 mile ride. Last year it took us about 3 hours to ride the 37 miles, maybe we can do it a little faster this year & get it in under 5. Who knows? But I will keep you posted!
