Sadly, in my wine induced knitting haze, I knit 1 sleeve, perfectly I may add - but realized that the other one was incorrect. Not paying attention, I rip out what I think is the ill knitted sleeve. Yeah......not the case. As I look down at the yarn on the table & my lap - I see the poorly knitted sleeve staring back at me from the other pile of yarn on the other side of the table. Crap! Now I have to start both sleeves all over. Oh well. At least it was for a newborn & not for myself. I might have strung myself up if that was the case.
Hopefully I will get the rest of the sweater finished before the weekend. I'd like to present it to the proud papa next week! Here it is in case you were wondering. It's finished, but requires a bit more assembly.
Oh Jenn... this made me laugh at my screen. =) I've totally done the same thing and un-done the wrong part. Ha!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it's going to be adorable! And just think, you finished it in time, before she outgrew it!
By the way, I do follow your antics regularly. You're totally an inspiration to my slow, pokey, wogging self. =)
And while I've crocheted for ever, I taught myself to knit over the winter. I can't for the life of me do anything but just knit and purl back and forth (one hook for crochet is much easier than trying to finagle two needles!!!) so if you post more cute knitting projects, you might inspire me there too! =)
