Dogs!

My old bulldog Cicero, never so much as sniffed any of my shoes.  No, that's not true, one time he picked up one of my shoes when he was mad at me & trotted across the living room so I would see he had my shoe.  But that was just once.

My new bulldog Louie, well he loves shoes.  All kinds.  He has eaten at least 5 pairs.  2 pairs of sandals, a pair of flip flops as well as a pair of sneakers & some other junky shoes.  All shoes are now out of reach of Louie.  Sometimes, if I come home & have left a pair of running sneakers lying around, I will find them on his bed with the shoelaces pulled out.  He's a pretty ingenious dog.  Not only can he untie shoes, he can open zippered bags.  Interesting.

I'll have to keep hiding my shoes from Louie, although, it is a good excuse to go buy new ones.
